How to upgrade your existing PC Reseller System data Instant Quote Pro Version 5:

1) As long as you have PC Reseller System version 4.0 or higher, the process is very simple, and your current database can be upgraded directly to IQ Pro version 5. To see what version you have, start PC Reseller System, then click on Help, About. If you have version 4.0 or higher, you are set to proceed to step 2. (If you have version 3, do the following prior to proceeding to step 2 : First download and install the latest version of pc reseller system by clicking here. Run PC Reseller System once and answer yes to the question on upgrading your database. This will upgrade your data to PC Reseller System version 4 formats. Now you are ready to proceed to step 2.)

2) We have a special PC Reseller System data conversion/importing program in place that will LEAVE YOUR PC RESELLER DATA INTACT!! This means that you can download and install Instant Quote Pro, run the conversion utility and see how Instant Quote Pro operates prior to purchasing!! Your existing PC Reseller System program, data and key will be fully functional, so you can run the 2 systems side by side to see if Instant Quote Pro is right for you!

3) Download Instant Quote Pro version 5

4) Double-click the above downloaded file, and install the program. After the install finishes, you are ready to import your PC Reseller System data into Instant Quote Pro.

5) Click on Start, All Programs, Instant Quote 2000, Convert PC Reseller System data.

6) The data conversion / importing program will open. The system will read your default database for PC Reseller System and automatically set the file in the PC Reseller System data location box. In the Instant Quote PRO data location box, the default c:\program files\instant quote 2000\database.mdb file and location will be used. Once you have verified both database locations, click "Begin Database Conversion". Remember, your original database will be left intact! After the conversion is complete, you are all set to run Instant Quote Pro. For network users, you will need to install Instant Quote Pro on your server using the "Dedicated Server" install option. Then, simply move the database.mdb and pw.mdb files, which contain your converted data, from c:\program files\instant quote 2000\ to the folder where you installed the Instant Quote Pro dedicated server option.

8) Purchase the upgrade key for Instant Quote Professional Please Note: The upgrade price is based on the number of users you are licensed for. So if you have a 3-user pc reseller license, you will need to order one base upgrade, plus 2 additional network user upgrades.
